To put it bluntly, VR is an unrealized gold mine of potential that is on the upswing. I firmly believe that this technology will be the main means in which we learn and interact with others within 50 years . Yes, I can fully acknowledge that this prediction has been made for the past 50 years, but this time is different I swear! The reason I make such a strong prediction all started back 2 years ago when I tried VR for the first time. It was in one of those demos you see at the store and the first demo was you need to walk this very narrow path across two skyscraper s. Immediately, I was immersed. As soon as the demo started, my brain was convinced I was on top of a building about to risk my life. Heartrate rising, looking down at the ground that I was convinced was 300 feet away.
